OUR WORK

SMP provides products as the customer requests. We manufacture products from customer supplied blueprints. If the product can be machined within the scope of our capabilities, SMP provides a bid to the customer containing price and delivery. If the customer does not have a blueprint and needs some engineering/design assistance, we will work with the customer to create a blueprint to which the product can be manufactured.

TAYLOR PRESCOTT

- PRESIDENT -

Taylor has worked in this industry for over 14 years. He started as a teenager at Allied Swiss Screw Products Inc. and in 2009 he started at Precision One Medical where he honed his skills in the Manufacturing Industry. He took advantage of the opportunity to learn how to run a successful shop through his grandfather Wade Prescott, founder/owner of Allied Swiss as well as his father, Chip Prescott who left Allied Swiss to start Precision One Medical. Now he applies those learned skills to Superior Machined Products to make the best quality parts at competitive prices.

ROBERT SWIGART 

- VICE PRESIDENT -

Robert brings over 35 years of experience to Superior Machined Products .
Robert has spent the last 3 decades honing his skills in both manual and CNC machines. Leadership roles have been consistent throughout his career. Robert joined the Allied Swiss team in 2004, and this allowed Robert to gain insight with the managerial aspects of running a company. He has continued his education and earned numerous certifications in leadership and kaizen events.

MICHAEL LYONS 

- QUALITY MANAGER -

Michael has worked in Manufacturing for over 25 years. While working at Allied Swiss, Michael completed the Machine Tool Technology program at Mira Costa college. During his 20 years of machining experience, he worked his way up from screw machine operator to the programmer and machine shop manager at Zest Anchors. While at Zest Anchors Michael performed the initial R & D for the Locator product line and became proficient in the ways of ISO13485. When the opportunity to partner up with past colleagues from Allied Swiss came he jumped at it. His knowledge of manufacturing, quality and ISO has made him a key asset to SMP.

JUAN MARAVILLA

- MASTER MACHINIST -

In the mid-90’s Juan started as a CNC lathe operator at Allied Swiss, four years later he had worked his way up to running implants on the swiss screw machines. At Veridiam Allied Swiss, he became the lead of an implant and abutment manufacturing cell. In 2010 Juan joined Precision One Medical where he honed his Swiss machine skills to a master level. Juan has brought these skills to SMP, where his talents are being shared with the next generation to build a strong base for the future.
